What Our Community Says

From first steps to big transformations, these testimonials capture the journey, the challenges, and the wins.

Walking is now a regular part of my day, replacing inactive hours spent in front of screens. Eating home-cooked food is also a daily habit, a big change from relying on quick delivery, and I now genuinely enjoy making simple, healthy meals. I've started viewing exercise as a way to build strength for a better life, rather than just for an athletic body. Protein, once a daunting word, is now synonymous with strength in my home.

I have increased my physical activity, consistently maintaining an average of 6,000 to 7,000 steps daily. I have lost 5–6 kg, with most progress in inches and fat loss. I am now much more mindful about my food choices

I lost around 8 kgs and am feeling light and active. Raj is one of the best and most awesome coaches in my life. You're a great mentor, coach, and everything to me. Wish I meet you once. Thank you, sir, for your guidance.

I've experienced significant wins through SBM. I'm now prioritizing movement every single day, transforming even Sundays into active days. My intake of veggies and protein has increased, and I feel active throughout the day. SBM helped me simplify my nutritional habits, making me more conscious about what I eat. Beyond these changes, I've also found a great community in the process.

Remarkably, I've lost 8+ kgs and reached 70.5 kgs, which is my lowest weight in 13 years

As a full-time working mom with a medically needy child, I had to take care of myself first to provide the best care possible. While still struggling to find time to exercise daily, I have lost a couple of inches, dropped a size, and am the best active version of my entire lifetime.

My biggest takeaway is I've learned not to panic when weight fluctuated. I am calm and confident, knowing I am in the driver's seat for the first time.

SBM taught me three main things: to be kind to myself, tomorrow is a new day; to be just a little better than yesterday; and that fitness isn't just about working out, but about nutrition, exercise, and most importantly, recovery.

SBM has been a game-changer for me. I always gave up previously, thinking about weight and food, ending up overeating. But now I am very mindful, looking for protein and veggies in each meal, eating in small portions, hitting the gym every single day, trying to reach 10k steps, and getting good sleep for 7 hours. I'm eating everything and still losing weight; I've lost 7.5 kgs and have no stress to lose weight.

In 2025, I learned how to get back on track after falling, and even how to fall "gently" as opposed to "face down"—a direct consequence of Raj’s comment in a webinar saying 'even if you break a rule, break it - don’t smash it.' I also learned to be that person who likes working out and to eat salads, becoming aware that I don’t eat enough proteins. Although I have slipped in the last month or so, overall, I have lost ~13 kg, physically feel better, my clothes fit better, and I feel optimistic about reaching my target weight goal.

When I signed up, I just wanted to lose 2-3 kgs, which had seemed impossible for three years. I actually lost 9kgs and still wonder how it happened! It wasn't about starving or avoiding social life; it was a healthy balance of willpower, portion control, prioritizing right foods, working out (without over-exerting), and not getting bogged down by life’s demands. Being part of SBM has been life-changing; my confidence has soared like anything!

Thank you, Raj and the team, for your constant inputs and support. You have done an amazing job! My biggest win: Even with limited ability to fully participate, I still felt supported, motivated, and more in control of my health thanks to the program’s structure and guidance. I hope to follow it more diligently soon.

Weight loss was a dream till SBM happened. It changed the whole perspective about food. I now eat guilt-free because I apply the SBM rules. Thank you Raj and team for the enormous efforts you put into this program. I love the Saturday webinar and look forward to it every week. I would love to continue my journey with SBM. BTW, I have lost 6 kgs

I have lost 15kgs before a couple of times but gained it back within 2-3 years. This time, I have lost 9 kgs but feel I have learned why and how to lose weight sustainably. I feel more in control due to the learnings from SBM.

I'm now in control of my own nutrition and health, finding it much easier to decide what goes on my plate rather than relying on unsustainable, specific plans. SBM taught me to be forgiving to myself when I slip up, allowing me to get back on track faster instead of spiraling. I've been able to build lasting habits, making small changes at a time.

I've lost 14 kgs, had numerous myths demystified, and developed much better habits. The realization that sleep time is proportional to weight loss has been a serious eye-opener. Most importantly, I've made a lifetime connection with SBM.

My biggest wins through SBM include 9.4 kgs weight loss, building healthy food habits, and prioritizing protein & veggies. I've understood the power of sleep and now consistently show up for exercise and walking.

This journey has been about unlearning old patterns. I have become more mindful and intentional—with food, movement, and rest, and how I show up for myself daily. I prioritize protein and vegetables in every meal, with less starch. No more mindless snacking, and minimized sweet and fatty foods without feeling deprived. I walk at least 10,000 steps and exercise daily, eating below satiety. I feel more active and energized throughout the day, and my sleep has improved.

For me, it's been about realizing truths and putting them into practice: increasing protein intake has reduced my sugar cravings, and weight loss isn't just about the scale - feeling better, stronger, and leaner is real.

Signed up for a sustainable weight loss journey, and after five months, I've lost 8kgs and dropped two sizes. Beyond weight, I now get 7+ hours of sleep, drink 2L+ water, practice smart plating (no snacking), and strength train to trek easily. I've learned to pick myself up and be kinder, inspiring my family. The supportive SBM community and team, especially Raj's non-judgmental guidance, have been invaluable.

SBM has been an eye-opener in many ways. With focused protein, I now navigate my busy days with significantly more energy and ease. The embarrassing midday yawns in meetings are gone, and I huff and puff much less climbing stairs.

today I am aware of WHAT I need to eat, HOW MUCH I need to eat, and WHEN I should eat. Looking forward to Level 2. Rock on SBM team. You have changed our lives.

SBM motivates me most to stay consistent. I've been regular with strength training and understood protein's importance, but SBM was a game-changer in simplifying and bringing everything else together to make the shift. I've lost weight and inches, my clothes fit better, and compliments are pouring in!

My relationship with my body, its weight, and food has changed completely. I am now in control and very kind to myself. The 7 kgs weight loss is simply an added advantage!

The program taught me the difference between laziness and burnout, and I'm learning to show up and do what I can instead of all or nothing. I also understand the difference between sparkler and candle energy, learning the importance of staying in the 70-80% effort zone, which allows me to relax, falter, and get back on track. This was most important of all.

I lost and maintained 5 kgs through SBM. The main thing was gaining awareness, shifting to a veggie and protein-rich diet, and reducing snacking. Walking and movement in general finally became a habit. Despite knee issues limiting some benefits, I'm glad this program truly disciplined me.

My journey with SBM has been amazing. I've lost almost 7 kgs and now deeply understand the importance of sleep and step count, consistently hitting 10k+ steps daily alongside my regular exercise. I can easily make better food choices and portion control when eating out or at parties. Most importantly, SBM taught me to choose food better (more protein/veggies, less carbs), allowing me to eat family meals with minimal changes. Overall, SBM has been a game-changer for me.

This journey with SBM has been more about internal wins than just numbers on the scale. While I couldn’t stay consistent after Phase 2, I’ve still gained so much that I truly value. One of the biggest mindset shifts has been learning how important protein is in our everyday meals, and how we can still enjoy sweets smartly without guilt. That balance has been a game changer for me. I also began strength training, something I never imagined myself doing; it feels empowering and has added a new dimension to my fitness.

I've learned to prioritize protein intake, so I no longer feel hungry or experience carb crashes after meals. I still enjoy occasional desserts, but I’m much more mindful of portion sizes. My exercise recovery has greatly improved due to increased protein consumption. The habits I've formed here will continue, and I'm confident I'll maintain my weight at a happy number this time!

ve lost and maintained 9kg, but more importantly, my cholesterol has lowered, and both my resting and walking heart rates have dropped. I can also now wear clothes that haven’t fitted properly for a long time! I'm truly grateful for the support and fun in the WhatsApp group

Signing up for SBM brought a whole new me. After five months, I hit my goal: 6 kgs down, feeling lighter, stronger, and truly in sync with my body. I now understand how it functions and what fuels it best. The supportive SBM team and community made all the difference. I'm feeling grateful, empowered, and consistently working out, walking 10k steps daily, and eating mindfully. I'm happy most of the time and I know why!

My learnings have been on building a better relationship with food and being more mindful about my choices. However, I lost 5kg initially and have been able to maintain that for a while, which is a HUGE win!

Joining SBM was the best decision I took in 2025. I’ve learned the art of losing and maintaining my weight without crash diets. Though my weight loss isn't huge, I'm very happy with my inch loss, and everyone asks my secret! I say it's simple and easy with Raj and his incredible team. I've started mindful eating, no longer crave junk, and my energy levels are high. Fitting into a blouse stitched 25 years back is my greatest win! Extremely happy with my fat loss, SBM has given me confidence I'll reach my goals steadily with mindful eating. So grateful to Raj and his team!

The simple truth—that output has to exceed input, and that more protein and more movement matter—has completely shifted my mindset. These basics are powerful. I’ve finally broken free from the cycle of yo-yo dieting, and I know this is no longer just a diet—it’s a lifestyle, and a lasting change.

Joining SBM is the best thing I have done for myself and self-esteem/health this year. I’ve lost nearly 6 kgs and feel so much lighter, able to move around with ease, and my general flexibility has increased. I learned the importance of sleep and including protein in every meal. Thank you to Coach Raj Ganpat and his fantastic team for their amazing support.

For the first time, I was able to be consistent and stick to a plan. I realized I'm not great at following all rules for 100%, but maintaining 70-80% was possible. This consistent effort showed changes in weeks, first as inches, then grams.

I have lost 5kgs. Looking for protein and veggies in every meal now. Was surprised when I felt light at running. Still need to concentrate more on movement , excercise and sleep

My gains include feeling leaner, being in better control of my weight, and thereby my life! I've also learned that "days are just days," whether good or bad, in terms of food choices. I don’t let that sour my mood or guilt trip me, and I still get to enjoy all my favorite foods!

Joining SBM has been a metamorphic experience for me. While I lost 25 kgs since '23, it resulted in a relationship with food mimicking a romance gone awry, leading to sleepless nights thinking of food. Losing this fear of food has been my greatest win. "Do not fear hunger" is another SBM quote which keeps me motivated. Still a long way to go, but joining SBM has been like joining a life skills development program with learnings I will treasure.

SBM has been an eye-opener, helping me incorporate key changes into my daily routine. I now eat more vegetables, have reduced carbs, and include protein and more water. I consistently do a 5km brisk walk, hit 10k+ steps daily, and sleep better. Though my weight loss has been moderate, my inch loss is noticeable, I'm stronger, and my fitness age is now 4 years younger! The meticulously shared knowledge is most valuable.

I have learned the importance of protein, how to eat healthy, and how to reach 9-10k steps per day by walking while taking calls, along with the importance of exercise (and that movement is not exercise). In this process, I lost 9 kgs.

I've learned the importance of daily protein, movement (steps, not just exercise), and sleep. I've also learned to accept that some days the scales will go up due to probable water retention. Most importantly, I'm beginning to see this as a lifelong commitment; even if I stray, it's crucial to get back to this discipline quickly and not beat myself up for transgressions, but to be kind to myself.

So many wins for so many! Joining SBM has been one of my best decisions for 2025 and I'll continue with it next session. Despite many health and family challenges this year, SBM has been a compass, a constant I follow daily. It's allowed me to accept "not so great days," return to a fresh start, and keep pushing forward without guilt or failure. I feel this is the first truly sustainable, long-term program I've joined.

I've lost 5 kg, gone down a pant size, and my cholesterol dropped 30 points. I've built a habit of walking as much as I can and started genuinely working out with weights. I'm now consistently sleeping 7+ hours a night and drinking at least 2 liters of water daily. Eating a lot of fiber and protein has become routine, and I'm feeling so much better about myself! Thank you for everything, Raj.

I've lost about 4 kgs, and many myths have been demystified. My sleep pattern has been corrected. Being a disciplinarian made the program much easier to adapt.

Before SBM, I was ready to discard my weighing machine because it never showed weight loss despite my efforts. But diligently following Raj and his team, that very machine is now responding! I've gone from 73 kgs to 66.8 kgs, which is unbelievable after all these years. I feel strong and confident, even finding the courage to let go of my cook to plan daily meals with the right measure of carbs, proteins, and veggies. I also learned to distinguish true hunger from a craving for snacks, often realizing I just needed water.

Thanks to SBM, by increasing physical activity (with walking steps now a priority), adopting balanced nutrition from learned healthy eating habits, and ensuring adequate sleep for daily functioning, I have gained improved health, increased energy with regular physical activity, and a better mood.
