The 20 week journey in a nutshell

Why choose “Take Control”?

While there are many weight loss programs available, most can make you feel exhausted and confused. Here are the key reasons why SBM will help you move in the right direction:

Dependence to independence

While most other programs create reliance on coaches, we do just the opposite. We empower you with the right tools, so you can carry on without us. After all, isn’t that what taking control is all about?

Strategic Lifestyle Action Plan

As opposed to a diet plan, this strategic framework is yours to use forever. It takes into account food preferences, cultural contexts, cuisines, good days, bad days, festival days and a lot more. We let the strategy be the anchor through life’s many twists and turns.

Effort Tracking

Efforts over outcomes - that’s our mantra. We help you track your efforts through the SBM app. We focus on what’s in your control. Your motivation or action points start right there. Not when the scale moves, or when the mirror has something to say!

What, Why & How

We firmly believe that you need to understand the ‘why’ and ‘how’, for the ‘what’ to matter. So, we don’t just stop with ‘Here is what you need to do’. Instead, we help you discover your own ‘why’, and we show you ‘how’ to go about executing the ‘what’. You take control. We enable it.

Empathy and kindness

Weight loss is usually a pressurising experience filled with anxiety, judgement and shame. But that is not how it is at SBM. To us, empathy and kindness are at the core of behavioural change. Because we don’t want you just somehow to lose weight. We want you to feel at home and enjoy this journey of betterment.
